Peter Rooney, Vice President, has extensive newspaper experience, including covering higher education for the (Champaign-Urbana Ill.) News-Gazette, where his reporting on research breakthroughs and campus issues frequently appeared on national wire services. He also worked in Berlin, Germany, as a correspondent for the Associated Press, on an Arthur Burns Fellowship. He has won awards for feature writing and investigative reporting.
